You send your application to email@example.com, specifying your phone number, city, and a short description of where you want to open one of our stores and why.
Your future franchisee manager or the franchisee director then contacts you to discuss general matters with you, and, most importantly, tell you what the main items of expenditure are and what the opening budget depends upon. A document is sent to you containing the main terms and conditions and figures for your city.
After the telephone conversation, instructions on how to create your business plan are sent to you by email. This is simply a table, which, once you have filled in your data, enables you to understand whether the economics of yourstore add up in the space of a month, plus it allows you to estimate your annual profit and payback period.
If everything is okay, your franchisee manager then helps you to select suitable premises: they give you calculation parameters for both street stores and stores in shopping centers, tell you about our principles for choosing the right location for a successful store, and insure you against potential mistakes. They also tell you about what you should pay attention to when searching for premises and in negotiations with the proprietor. In addition, you get an overview of activities to promote your store.
All this can usually be done over the course of the first conversation, normally 15-30 minutes in length. You get enough preliminary information to align your own expectations with what we forecast for your city and store.
After this, you need to complete the documents we send you, including providing details about the premises you are considering and other information. Normally, the calculation form is completed in several iterations, between which additional consultation or help with the calculations may be required – if necessary, your franchisee manager will assist with this. The end of this step is an evaluation of specific property options. By this time, it is usually clear that hard work and careful thinking are going to be required, and it is therefore at this stage that the first candidates – who are unprepared to do detailed calculations for their future store – are rejected.
The next step is analysis of the calculations, and more detailed discussion about potential and outlook. Risks are discussed separately, including the potential for your city (possible turnover), which we evaluate based on average statistics for other cities, plus our own experience. You should understand clearly that your store’s success depends 90% on your actions, in particular successfully choosing premises, implementing processes, recruiting staff and promoting your store. We train everyone, offer direction and are always available to contact, but the work is yours to do.
If you have calculated everything properly, recognized all the risks and are comfortable with the picture the figures paint, then it’s time to play. The next steps are as follows:
Usually prior to opening and during the first few weeks of trading, a multitude of questions arises. We are always available to contact, help you resolve these, and give you advice. Normally, after the first 3-4 games fairs (after stores have been trading for a month), it becomes clear how toiron out your processes and begin operating smoothly.
